1.​About these terms

These terms apply to this website and to the services Phaseline offers. When you ask us for a project, we will send you a proposal or agreement for that project. If it says something different from these terms, the proposal or agreement wins for that project.

2.​Our services

We offer four things:

• Web Presence: a custom website for your business.
• Business Systems: a private operations platform built around how your team works.
• Custom Software & AI: software built for one specific problem, with AI where it helps.
• Care: an optional monthly plan for ongoing care of what we have built.

3.​What we need from you

To do good work on time, we need accurate information about your business, your content, logos and images, your approvals, and timely feedback. Delivery dates are estimates, and they depend on you giving us these things when we ask.

4.​Timelines

Typical timelines are 3 to 4 weeks for Web Presence and 5 to 8 weeks for Business Systems. For Custom Software & AI, we set the timeline with you after a consultation. The timeline for your project is set out in your proposal.

5.​Fees and payment

Fees are set out in your proposal. Unless your proposal says something different, we take payment in three parts:

• 30% as an advance, before work starts.
• 40% when half of the work is done.
• The remaining 30% before launch.

If work has not started, we refund your advance. Once work has started, advance payments are not refunded. See our Cancellation & Refunds page.

6.​Changes to scope

If you ask for work that is outside what we agreed, we will quote it separately before we start.

7.​Ownership

You own the custom code and data we build for you. Once your project has launched and all payments due have been made, it is yours, unless your proposal says something different. We share the code files when you ask for them.

If you cancel before your project has launched, the unfinished work is not handed over and does not become yours. It stays with Phaseline. See our Cancellation & Refunds page.

We keep the right to reuse general knowledge and our own pre-existing tools. Third-party components stay under their own licences.

8.​Third-party services and costs

Some things your project may need are provided by other companies under their own terms. These include domain names, hosting, payment gateways, WhatsApp and AI services. They are billed by those companies, or passed on to you at cost. The cost of using them is yours.

9.​AI features

AI assistants can give wrong or incomplete answers. You are responsible for reviewing and monitoring any AI feature we build for you, and for the information it is given.

10.​Support

Every project includes 6 months of support. Support covers fixing faults in what we delivered. New features and changes are separate work.

Care is a monthly plan. You can cancel it with 30 days' notice. See our Cancellation & Refunds page.

11.​Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA on request.

12.​Showing our work

We may show completed projects in our portfolio with the client's permission. If you ask us to remove a project, we will.

13.​Limits on our responsibility

We are not responsible for indirect or business losses. We do not promise sales, search rankings or any specific business result. Our total responsibility for a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project.

14.​Using this website

Please use this website fairly. Do not try to break it, overload it, get into parts you are not meant to see, or use it to harm others.

15.​Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we disagree, we will first try to sort it out together in good faith. If that does not work, the courts at Delhi will decide.
